Samsung's first Smart Bulb can be controlled through a smartphone application



Although beaten to the punch by rival LG -arch, Samsung has just released its debut Smart LED bulb literally called "intelligent Bulb. " Multilevel model we saw at the FCC looks nothing but retains only the Bluetooth spec - unlike the Wi -Fi -based Philips Hue and WiFi / Bluetooth LG Smart Lamp . That will give you direct control of up to 64 lamps through a smart phone application , similar to how the lumen bulb works. However, ZigBee Bluetooth need a hub for home automation , and there's nothing even if it will be included. The dim bulb up to ten percent of energy with a range of colors from warm white and cold, ie tricks disco -like models of Philips and Lumen are out. No word yet on the price, but Samsung said that the bulb would last intelligent prodigious 15,000 hours or about 10 years under normal use.
