Polaraoid iM1836 :

Announced :

Polaraoid iM1836 :

polaroid announced its first 'android' interchangeable lens camera.
It has a 18.1-megapixel sensor and comes with interchangeable 10-30mm optical zoom lens and also accepts Micro Four Thirds System lenses on other mirrorless cameras. It has a 3.5-inch LCD screen with full touch controls. You can record 1080p Full HD videos. It features automatic detection of flicker, Panorama mode, automatic face exposure, ISO up to 3200, support from Google Play and pop-up flash. It has built in WiFi Peer 2 Peer to share images and videos from your camera through Android applications, 3.5 mm audio jack, HDMI, but lacks 3G / 4G Galaxy support that the Chamber had. The Polaroid iM1836 is expected to go on sale in the U.S. in Q1 2013 to a maximum suggested retail price (MSRP) of $ 399. This is definitely cheaper than Jelly Bean Android-powered point-and-shoot, the Camera Galaxy. Since there are no details on the processor and RAM, it is doubtful that the Polaroid camera Android offer similar performance as the Galaxy Camera.
